Today is Sunday. We always look forward to seeing Kate and Chris and Evie and Coleslaw on Sundays! I know it's going to be a happy day....they make me happy! Yesterday was my baby, Christie's 30th birthday. Yikes....I am OLD! She on the other hand looks a lot younger then her years. She's a beautiful woman, inside and out. I am so proud of her. She and Brian and Chloe and Colin spent Friday night with us. They had a few things to finish up before they could move into their new home. It felt good having them here, I miss having my kiddos here at home. When they first moved out I cried because the house seemed so empty....now more then a dozen years later, it still feels just as empty. Being a mom is all I knew how to do and I made my share of mistakes with it, but our children grew up to be amazing adults. I thank God for this. I've always prayed for my kids, and I know God always heard my prayers! I still pray for them and will until the day I die. I once heard where a mothers prayer is like the brightest star in the sky to God! I know my mom has always been a real prayer warrior and it always makes me feel loved and safe!
I'm missing baby Chloe already! She's growing so fast. She's started smiling and coo-ing, she has so much to say, she just can't get those words to come out! I think Christie and her will be over wednesday. Of course, I'm looking forward to their visit!
Thank you Lord for Dave, and Ally and Mark, Patrick, Harrison, Kate, Chris, Eve, Cole, Christie, Brian, Chloe and Colin! They are the light of my life! And thank You for the two new babies we have on the way. Please bless our girls with safe pregnancies, labors, and deliveries and please bless us with perfectly healthy babies! Thank You too for my amazing husband! He is my everything!
